Field Trip: Blackwater Draw

Two hours west of Lubbock, and just a bit south of Cannon AFB, lies one of America's most important archaeological sites, Blackwater Draw #1. Most people aren't familiar with it, and even most anthro students draw a blank until you sigh and say, "where they found the Clovis culture?"

Here are some funny pictures from Blackwater Draw. None of my crewmates were interested in going,  but Miquel and I had a great time, apart from the flies. NM has crazy flies.
